Hi,

Has anyone developed  scripts to apply changes in the Datapower rather than doing the changes using the GUI?

If so can you please send a sample. Huh

Hello

We did write some scripts for some of our customers to take backups, import a new config, restart the domains etc..

The way we did it is by writing shell scripts to to login using ssh into DataPower and then run CLI commands. So if you have a CLI reference manual with you, then thats all you need after logging in using SSH.

I was not able to log into the datapower box using a script.

i am using this command to log into datapower box

C:\Documents and Settings\abc\Desktop>putty.exe -ssh 10.291.31.175 -l login -pw
password

Result:

Using username "login".

Unauthorized access prohibited.
login:


For the first it always says unauthorized access prohibited.

I am new to scripting too..


Can you help me out? Huh

Hi Supra,

just go ahead entering the username(login) and password again...u should be able to log in
