We were unable to use it because it caused significant problems with our existing configurations -- had to revert back. The updates do look pretty exciting, however.

I have upgraded one of our internal XS40 with it, but some of our clients' XS40s are still using 35.x.

What are some of the new features/fixes?

We have two XI50s at the office and one has been upgraded to 3.6.1, but whenever I try to Save Config the browser just freezes and nothing is actually saved. All I've been trying to do is add a new user to a new application domain and user group. I noticed that even though I haven't saved the configuration the new user is still there, but its status is "new" and not "saved". If I try to login on the new user it just "loads" indefinitely.

I tried creating a user on the other box with the previous firmware without saving the configuration afterwards, leaving the status as "new" to see if the same login problem happened, but I was still able to log in and it prompted me to change the password. This suggests to me that the inability to save and login may be two different problems.

Has anyone encountered anything like this?

I upgraded XS40's to FW 3.6.1.  The web service proxy that had been configured and working was down after the upgrade.  The problem was in the Crypto Validation Credentials area under pubcert.  For some reason it appears that the cert for the proxy was removed from the list of certificates listed in pubcert.  I eventually got it re-added.  It was difficult as I would add the cert, Apply/Save etc, then "Create Validation Credential from pubcert" and pubcert would still be DOWN.  I went back and checked the certificate list for pubcert and the cert was NOT there!!  I seemed to get it to stick by doing Apply/Save and going back to the main menu and then back to Crypto.

My question is why would the cert be "removed" due to a FW upgrade?  If this is expected behavior, it could make upgrades painful if dealing with multiple certs.

thanks,
Dan

webgui is slow and hangs sometimes. we had a case that WTX crashed fw 3.6.0.x but not 3.6.1.x. IBM reproduced the error and had APR on it. When I rollback to the previous fw, the objects created with the 3.6.1.x vanished, I had to recreate them again.... Cry
