I am building a MPG where the  response is in an HTTPS url in internet.
The connection needs to be established through a network proxy service.
I have created a new User agent to be used with the XML manager  .
For the Proxy policy tab ,I have configured Remote host and Remort port as proxy server URL and port number.
For a SSL proxy profile I have selected a SSL Proxy profile as forward with identification and validation credentials as None .
For Basic Auth Policy tab ,I have selected my user name /password ,I have specified my username/password for the proxy.

I have tried alternate configurations as well without using username/password  for the Basic Auth Policy tab.

I have specified the Backend URL in the MPG configuration.
The error message I am getting is "Valid backside connection could not be established: Failed to establish a backside connection "

1. Could you advise the steps to connect to an HTTP Service from DP using a Proxy service.
2.Do you see any issue in above configuration.
3.Is there a way to test a TCP connection from DP using a proxy .
The TCP connection utility from DP troubleshooting tools does not have a option .
