hi all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to set up a single IP port for use with an FTP/s service that can then be used by multiple clients? (Inbound connections to XB60).

As far as I can tell Datapower seems to work by wanting to set up an FTP/s port per client, essentially creating a new FTP/s server per client. As we have hundreds of clients currently, and expect this to grow considerably over the next few years, we can see this becoming a bit unmanageable.

What we'd like is for all customers using the same service to use a single FTP/s port, in the same way as you'd expect if this was a standard FTP/s server, i.e. a single port for all FTP/s connections, then authentication done by username, password and certificate and the service (i.e. the routing of the data) being done either by filename, or more likely by the path the data is pushed to.

At the moment setting up a new customer for an existing service, requires a new port, and our customer really dislikes this as it's inconsistent from one client to the next, the old system that Datapower replaced just had one FTP/s service that was utilised by all FTP/s users, the only thing that changed from one client to the next was the username and password they used.

Thanks,
Mark
