I want to develop a POC.  The front end = Servlets queueing XML/SOAP MQ messages
The middle =  Datapower XI50  with web service proxy configured - XML/SOAP MQ messages input to the Web Service proxy
The backend:  a web service implementation performing DB2 lookups etc.

Does this make sense?  Can a Web Service Proxy be configured which takes XML/SOAP requests off an MQ queue?

Hi
You can use a MPG with MQ FSH to get xml messages and use HTTP to route the messages to back end.
Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks

First, you can go for WSP only if you have a WSDL, else go for MPGW.
Second, considering that you have WSDL of the backend web service, then an MQ FSH can be used to receive messages from a queue.
Finally, your architecture is fine.
