Hello,

I have been trying to disable the WS-Proxy from doing an exact match on the url. How would I do this? Basically, I want to send in a request, and have my XSLT validate the URL and do some work on it before passing on to the endpoint.

If I send in /path1/path2/path3/etc..., I want the WS-Proxy to only match on /path1. So far, I always get the "No WS-Proxy service endpoints matched request." message. This is to allow us to generate custom error messages if lets say path2 was incorrect, letting them know what was wrong, and how to correct it.

any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Dan

I think ws proxy is a bad choice using a multi protocol gateway or xml firewall will allow you to set all the match rules etc. In a ws proxy all those things are setup automatically for you.

WS-Proxy tries to match all the endpoints and operations as defined in the WSDL.
If your WSDL defines certain rules, WS-Proxy will try to match it.
You can disable the Schema Validation by going into the Policy tab and disabling the different Schema Validations set..
Some of them get automatically selected when you create it, like SOAP Validation etc.

As posted in the earlier response, you could use an XML firewall if you are looking for something generic.
