Hello,

I have a ws-proxy, that I wish to customize all error messages. One in particular I am having issues with.

If the backend target service is not reachable, how do I customize the error, do I redirect the RESULT action to a pipe? or use some other method?

Thanks,

dan

Dan,

Is that error not triggering an error rule? if it does, you can find the error code and do a match on that code in eror rule. You can either use the error-message in service context or use your own customized error messages.

If it is not triggering, then probably you might have to go with a on-error action. In that you can define the rule that need to be called.

Also, there is a list of error codes under Administration->Debug->View List of Event Codes.

Hope this helps,

I actually ran into this issue yesterday.  No it does not throw an 'error' per se that gets 'caught' by the error rule.

I am still looking into a solution.  Let me know if you find one, and I will do the same.  Smiley
