Hey all,

i am doing a validation in a transform step of an MPG and using reject and send-error extension element, but my error rule is not getting invoked. But my transform action is failing and an error comes back to my client program. I have tried setting var://service/error-ignore to a non-zero value, but no effect. I am using datapower version 3.6.0.25. Anybody has come across this problem before?

Thanks,
sudhish

Hi,

I got a work around. I added an on-error action before the transform action where i am doing that validation. I gave the error rule to call in the on-error action. Now its working. Though i would like to know the reason why the error rule is not getting triggered.

Thanks,
Sudhish
